About me.
1. How old are you?/What's your name?/Where do you live?
Age:
15. Fifteen. One-five. That means I'm a minor. Underage. It's on my front page you know, there's no need to send me notes asking.
Name:
Madelaine Jensen. That's not my 'real' name, but it's the one I use for most things (online and offline), since one day I hope to be Madelaine Jensen.
Location:
I live in The United States of America. Commonly known as "the USA". That's on a continent called North America. I live in the time zone called EST. That's all you need to know.

2. Do you have a boyfriend?
Boyfriend? So you just assume I'm straight? And yes, I do have one. His name is Matthew Jensen. You can do a web or image search for him if you'd like to, but none of the results that come up are my Matt. Thank goodness, as some of the results are pretty scary looking...

3. What grade are you in?/What school do you go to?
I am not in school. I was homeschooled most my life, but now I am waiting to become an american citizen so I can attend college.

4. Why do you make stock?
Because I love seeing what people make. I really dislike most pictures of me, but I the art that is created with my images is so incredible that it's really worth my time.

5. What are your measurements?
I'm 5'3'' and my weight is changing all the time. The least amount I've weighed in any of my pictures is 93 pounds and the most is 110. See? It changes from time to time. Any other "measurements" are really none of your business.

6. When's your birthday?
February 5th.

7. Why don't you reply to all my comments that I posted on every image?
Because if you go through my gallery and just write "nice" or "good" on every or even most of my pictures, that is considered spam. It really annoys me and I'm not going to waste my time replying with a simple "thanks" to every one. If you like my entire gallery, you really don't need to post the same one word on every image.
8. Do you want to meet me?
Probably not. There are only a few people on he internet who I'd ever like to meet. And they know who they are.

About my stock.
1. Who takes the pictures?
I do. With the timer on my camera.

2. Where do you get your clothing?
All over the place. Many of what I wear is mine that I have found for sale at various stores, mainly thrift shops. And everything else is borrowed from friends, the local theatre or my mum.

3. Why don't you resize your images? They're way too big!
They're stock images. I'm aware that none of my pictures fit perfectly on the screen, but that's because if you've ever had to work with low resolution stock you'll probably know that large, high-quality images are the best.

4. Do you edit your images?
Yes. You can read up on everything I do to my images before posting here.

5. Why don't you post nude images of yourself?
Because I don't want anyone - let alone everyone - online to be able to see me naked or in any sort of suggestive pose. That is beyond creepy… and not in a good way sort of creepy. Also, I'm a minor (see: FAQ#1).

6. Can you do a request for me?
It depends. I only do requests for members of deviantART who have established a name for themselves. I'm not saying you have to have lots of pageviews before I'll do a request for you. All I'm saying is that you should have a nice collection of art in your gallery before I go working hard to make an image for you.

About my camera. & studio and other equipment
1. What kind of camera do you have?
A Canon Rebel XT. That's 8.0 mega pixel-y goodness.

2. How many seconds is the timer?
Ten seconds, just like most camera's timers.

3. What "mode" do you use?
"M" that means "Manual"

4. What sort of lighting do you use?
A softbox, one clamp on lamp which is attached to a chair, the lightbulb on the ceiling, and the light from my window (usually) which comes from the sun, which is a star in our solar system.

5. Who pays for all this?
Lots of people, but overall I've spent the most.
I bought: My computer, my camera and most my costumes.
As gifts: My 12x18'' wacom tablet is from my step-dad as a birthday gift, my card-reader is also from my step-dad which he just bought for me to be nice, the clamp on lamp was given to me a long time ago by my mum so I could read at night and my subscriptions have been given to me by three people: jademacalla was the first and more recently Cinnamoncandy and trinitylast
Stuff I'm borrowing: The softbox I'm borrowing from my step-dad, and several of my outfits are stuff I'm either borrowed from my mum or a local theatre company. The swords I borrowed from this guy named Corey.

COMPETITION FAQ</u>
1. Do I have a better chance of winning if I'm well-known on dA?
Nope! Not only do I ignore usernames when judging, but I ask my judges to do the same. If someone who's well known submits a not-so-good entry to me competition, I'm not just going to have them at first place because they're famous on dA. That would be silly and seriously unfair.
2. Can I donate a prize?
Of course! Just send me a note letting my know what you'd like to donate!
3. Can I be a judge, too?
I pick out my own judges. So there's always a chance you could be...
4. What if my entry is the first thing ever submitted to my gallery?
That's fine! I always look at the galleries of people who enter, and if the entry for my competition is the only thing, I won't let that change my desision. I don't judge based on all the work in your gallery, just the entry itself.
