"What the hell is a Lepidoptera?!"

A Lepidoptera is an "order" which basically means it includes all butterflies and moths.

So this is a Dark Butterfly/Moth Competition, but I think "Dark Lepidoptera Competition" sounds cooler.

"So what do you mean by 'Dark'?"

Absolutely anything "dark" can mean. Literally dark or any of the other definitions "Having richness or depth" "Exhibiting or stemming from evil characteristics or forces" "Concealed or secret; mysterious" etc.

RULES

Must use: =AttempteStock (me) as your main subject and at least one texture from *textureific

Your entry must include at least one Lepidoptera (moth or butterfly) in adult form.

Entries must be submitted after July 1st, and must be submitted before August 17th. No old works - must be something new!

A maximum of 2 entires per person.

Send in all entries through not to both *textureific and =AttempteStock

Include in the description that it's for =AttempteStock and *textureific's Competition.

Send a note to both =AttempteStock and *textureific

First: A 8x12 (or close to that size) print from the gallery of =DoNotAttempt, a 10 image stock or texture pack from ~pale-light, a ten image stock pack from =vcrimson and journal features from *textureific and =AttempteStock *Lisajen-stock and =failingjune

Second: A 3 month sub and journal features from *textureific, =AttempteStock, *Lisajen-stock and ~stock-lunar. Also a 5 stock/texture pack from =vcrimson (winner of my last competition)

Third: A 1 month sub and journal features from *textureific, =AttempteStock, *Lisajen-stock and ~stock-lunar
